Our Story

The Devine Group was first established in 1983 and quickly built a reputation for providing quality homes in some of the fastest growing areas of south east Queensland. The company's early success and growth resulted in a listing on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) in 1993.

Over the past decade the company has diversified into a range of new areas including the development of large-scale master-planned communities, inner city high-rise apartment buildings, commercial and retail property as well as establishing a major construction business.

The Devine Group continues to build on its reputation in the residential property business and over the past 28 years has helped in excess of 23,000 families throughout Australia achieve their dream of home ownership.

Today, the Devine Group remains highly regarded for its innovative, modern, quality homes and apartments and its dedication to client service. Included among the numerous awards it has received is the HIA Quality Builder of the Year Award.

Home Building

Devine is a respected builder meeting the needs of homebuyers in Queensland, Victoria and South Australia. A broad range of home designs gives the company the flexibility to tailor homes to the needs, tastes, aspirations and budgets of homebuyers. Designed for a variety of allotments, its home range includes a suite of architecturally-designed, modern homes ranging from cosmopolitan styled terrace homes to large traditional homes designed to suit the growing family. Homes are designed to a 5-star energy rating and feature luxury inclusions that some other builders call extras. Apartments and Mixed Use Development

Devine's Apartments and Mixed Use Development business has completed an impressive portfolio range of large-scale projects in and around the central business districts of Brisbane and Melbourne, including more than 3,000 apartments exceeding $1 billion in value. Over the last decade Devine has established itself as one of Australia's largest and most successful city apartment developers. The company's enviable portfolio of development projects includes the iconic Victoria Point at Docklands and the $500 million Hamilton Harbour precinct in Brisbane.

Construction Capability

Devine Constructions was established to help maximise efficiencies by providing the company with in-house construction capability to ensure the timely and managed delivery of major projects. The division completed its first project, the $169 million Charlotte Towers apartment project in Brisbane in 2004. In the time since, Devine Constructions has completed other major developments, including commercial property projects such as 333 Ann Street in Brisbane. Devine Constructions is also undertaking the construction of the first two stages of the flagship Hamilton Harbour project in Brisbane, with a construction cost exceeding $230 million.
