Jim Shapcott, National Advertising Manager

Widely regarded as an expert in retail and property advertising, Jim was principal of Shapcott Advertising Agency – which operated in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. He pioneered the HIA display village concept and directed the first of Australian TV's lifestyle shows, which featured HIA homes. During his time with Devine, Jim has seen the company grow from a small builder to a major force in the Australian residential construction industry.

Peter Hobbs, National Advertising Operations Manager

Peter has managed the advertising and marketing campaigns for Devine medium density and housing and land projects since 1998 as part of a 15-year communications career. 
He has worked in both advertising and public relations agencies in Australia and overseas. Among his property clients were LJ Hooker Project Marketing, Colliers International, and Raine and Horne International. In London he managed pan European and Asia Pacific campaigns for a range of multi-national clients.
Prior to joining Devine, Peter was Corporate Communications Manager for Springfield, the largest master planned community in the southern hemisphere where he was responsible for advertising, marketing, public relations, community relations and government and business lobbying.

Peter has qualifications in business from the Queensland University of Technology and holds a Diploma of Business Management.
