David Devine, Managing Director

After commencing his working career with a Victorian chemical company, David joined Hortico Australia Limited. Over 12 years, he gained wide experience in Hortico's production, manufacturing, advertising, distribution, marketing, administrative and management systems. After being promoted to manager of Hortico's operations in Queensland, then Western Australia, David left Hortico to set up his own aluminium boat building business. In 1993, he entered the property development market and established Devine Limited.

Ken Woodley, Marketing Director

Ken worked in an accounting practice before moving into management of a building construction company, where he rose to become Managing Director. Arriving in Australia in 1982, he joined the Peter Kurts Group before launching Stewarts Real Estate in partnership with another real estate agent. While at Stewarts, he successfully marketed several Devine Group developments. He then joined Devine to head its marketing division from 1985.

Brent Hailey, Chief Operating Officer

Brent has more than 27 years experience in the property industry, specialising in residential development, civil engineering and strategic management. Brent was previously Chief Executive Officer of MFS Diversified Group (ASX: MFT), a position he held since the Group's merger with Villa World Limited (ASX: VWD) in September 2006. He was Chief Executive Officer and an Executive Director of Villa World Limited from 2003. Brent also held senior positions with the privately-owned civil construction and urban development company BMD Group for almost 16 years, including Managing Director of Development Consulting Pty Ltd, Director of Engineering and Property Services and Group CEO. He is also the current President of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) Queensland Division. Brent's roles with the UDIA have also included chairing the Industry Development Steering Committee and the South-East Queensland Regional Plan Task Force in 2004 and 2005.

Viv Grayson, Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer

After graduating with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree, Viv spent many years in various accounting and management positions with AV Jennings Homes. This included three and a half years as Vice President of Accounting and Finance in the company's operations in the USA. Viv then became Finance Manager of the Melbourne-based timber and hardware company, Bowen and Pomeroy Pty Ltd. He joined Devine in his current role in 1999.

Brett Gillan, National Funds Manager

Brett has recently begun to undertake steps to establish a funds management division at Devine as part of the group's strategy to extend its successful business platform. Prior to his current role, Brett was responsible for Devine's development division. In this role Brett oversaw the creation and delivery of a large number of Devine's high-rise Brisbane CBD residential projects and commercial projects. Before joining Devine, Brett worked on various projects in Australia and overseas, he also holds MBA Honours degrees in Engineering and Science and he is currently Vice President of the Urban Development Institute of Australia.
