It's quick-sticks for these final six
Just six opportunities remain to buy into Devine's popular
community, 'The Pines' at Morayfield.
The 64-lot estate integrates the conveniences of modern living
into a natural setting, and is being developed to meet some of the
demands created by the region's insatiable appetite for
housing.
Morayfield has been nominated as a principal activity centre and
transport hub for Caboolture Shire, which is among the 10 fastest
growth areas in Australia. Official figures show it has grown at 3%
for each of the past five years, outstripping that of greater
Brisbane (2%).
By 2011 the shire's population is forecast to rise from its
current 130,000 to almost 153,000. Little wonder Devine's new seven
hectare estate in Coach Road has been in such high demand.
"This is a real growth area, with a wonderful range of amenities
already established," said Scott McIntosh, Queensland State Manager
for Devine's Housing & Land.
"Morayfield is strategically placed between Brisbane and the
Coast, linked by freeway and rail, and 'The Pines' has good access
to the Bruce Highway. Home buyers around here are not only making a
wise lifestyle choice but a prudent financial investment as
well.
"The supply of accommodation can't keep pace with demand, which
is pushing prices higher. The local council is tipping a population
of 200,000 by 2021 so values will have to keep rising."
Devine's remaining home-and-land packages at 'The Pines' range
from $318,900 to $337,900 including landscaping. Lots are a
generous size, averaging 600 square metres, and are available for
sale from $155,900.
A feature of the estate is a 1.6-ha community park. Pine trees
and shrubs have been planted as a tribute to the era when
Morayfield was home to pine and sugarcane plantations.
"'The Pines' is in keeping with the company's underlying
principle of providing good quality, affordable housing that is
ideal for first and second home buyers, said Mr McIntosh. "We are
selling an average of two lots per week, so I'd encourage people to
inspect here quickly or it will be too late."
