Leading developer Devine Communities has launched the latest stage at its $300 million Lakeside community at Andrews Farm, with buyers able to choose from a range of new homes, homesites and great-value terrace homes.

The latest stage, Stage 10B, includes 82 homesites ranging in size from 210 sqm to 638 sqm, with land starting from $99,000 and home-and-land packages from $234,900.

South Australia General Manager Steve Weightman said he expected strong demand for homes in the stage, which includes housing styles to suit every need as well as a 2000sqm recreational reserve.

"We are keenly aware of the changing needs of property buyers and have developed this stage to ensure there is something for everybody including first and second-home buyers, large families and those looking for the low-maintenance living provided by our terrace homes," Mr Weightman said.

"With more empty nesters and many working families no longer wanting to spend their weekends mowing lawns and cleaning pools we expect the compact lots to be especially popular. They also present terrific value for the area and would be ideal for the first home buyer or investor as well."

Civil works are anticipated to commence in April, with settlements to commence in September 2009.

Stage 10B includes a number of homesites with sought-after reserve frontage, while all homes will be within walking distance of the reserve.

The release of stage 10B has been brought forward following strong demand for the previous stage, Stage 10A. It is within walking distance of a proposed bus route and a proposed primary school.

Devine is currently constructing one of Adelaide's premier display villages at Lakeside, featuring displays from South Australia's premium project builders.

All homes will be built to meet a five-star energy rating, while the development will also include 'purple pipes', a water conservation measure that delivers reclaimed water for flushing toilets and irrigating gardens and reserves.

Andrews Farm is conveniently located midway between Adelaide and the Barossa Valley, within three kilometres of the region?s major transport arterial Main North Road and less than two kilometres from the new Northern Expressway which is currently under construction.

The 52-hectare development is bounded by Stebonheath Road, Petherton Road and Andrews Road.
