Strong sales over past three weeks
The first stage of Devine's new $25 million 'Lakeside' lifestyle
estate at Andrews Farm is half sold - all within three weeks.
Sales have included blocks of land from around 375m² to 540m²
for between $79,900 and 95,000, and home-and-land packages from
$247,000 to $257,000.
Located on Davoren Road, 'Lakeside' comprises 107 residential
lots. The first 42 of these were released on Boxing Day, and proved
popular.
"'Lakeside' is attracting interest from first and second home
buyers because it is affordable and in a convenient, well-serviced
location," said Devine's South Australian Manager, Steve
Weightman.
"There are six parks and at least 10 primary and secondary
schools and a university nearby so the lifestyle is ideal for a
growing family. Business-wise there is a great deal of employment
opportunities in surrounding suburbs, while Adelaide's CBD is
easily accessed by fast road and commuter train services."
As well as private buyers, four independent builders have
purchased blocks at 'Lakeside' on which they plan to erect display
homes. All homes at 'Lakeside' have to meet urban design guidelines
to ensure the estate maintains high aesthetics standards,
construction integrity and retains its capital value.
Devine is also building three display homes at 'Lakeside'. The
models - 'Boronia', 'Lynwood' and 'Maui' - have four bedrooms, two
bathrooms and double garages, and should be completed by June.
'Lakeside' is in Adelaide's northern suburbs, 28 kilometres from
the CBD. It is near reserves, walking trails and, as its name
suggests, a picturesque lake.
'Lakeside' - where remaining house-and-land packages range from
