As South East Queensland continues to surge as Australia's
fastest growing property market, home-and-land giant Devine is
using its superb development recipe to produce another quality
residential estate.
Australia's seventh largest builder has created 'Nautical Edge'
at Coomera. It is one of Devine's largest single collections of
residential properties, in line with the company's new strategy to
develop its own land supply.
'Nautical Edge' - on Finnegan Way, East Coomera - will comprise
three precincts. The first, 'Edgewater', will offer 134 dwellings
to be released on December 27 2005, followed later by second
precinct 'Sea Green' then third precinct 'Nautical Edge'.
Coomera, between Brisbane and Surfers Paradise, is the most
rapidly expanding suburb on the Gold Coast. $3 billion in
development activity is planned or underway in this thriving
coastal hotspot, and 'Edgewater' residents will have it all at
their fingertips.
Recently only known as the home of Dreamworld, Coomera's
accessibility to Brisbane and the Gold Coast has set it high on the
agenda for many prospective home buyers and investors. The
patronage and profile of the country's most renowned theme park has
provided a need for a major nearby shopping centre precinct.
Community and local government development proposals include a
multi billion dollar, 21st Century urban centre known as Coomera
Town Centre, to be located around the existing Coomera train
station. It will comprise a community centre, library, hospital,
50m pool and 106,000 m² of retail space.
Each of 'Edgewater's' 134 single and double-storey detached
housing, courtyard homes, terraces and studio apartments will
include $20,000 worth of luxury extras such as landscaping, turf,
fences, gardens, carpets, air-conditioning, Smeg stainless steel
appliances and designer kitchens.
"The estate features several major benefits in addition to its
ideal location," said Paul Nash, Devine's National General Manger
of Home and Land. "It overlooks a large freshwater lake encompassed
by walking trails, a feature parkland with fishing areas,
children's play zones and quiet areas to relax. Each residence has
been designed to complement its allotment.
"The integrated housing features a variety of architectural
themes, making 'Edgewater' an affordable lifestyle choice for first
and second home buyers."
Home and land
packages at 'Edgewater' will start at $219,900. Homebuyers will
also have free access to trained colour consultants and their own
personal customer service representatives will keep them abreast of
all activities involved in the building process.
Devine has a good track record in the area, with its 'Coomera
Gardens' estate completely sold out. Its nearby 'Coomera Sanctuary'
(pictured) has only 20 of its 100 lots remaining.
"Gold Coast City Council proposes a modern, dynamic Coomera of
the future, with nine precincts embracing residential, commercial,
government, retail and entertainment projects," said Mr Nash.
"Devine aims to be an important contributor to the fantastic
lifestyle offered by this new town."
Devine is currently a nationally-recognised developer, with a
$1.5 billion collection of projects underway in Queensland,
Victoria and South Australia. Its work in architectural design and
project sustainability has won multiple awards for urban
excellence, environmental benefit and customer service.
The 'Edgewater' Sales and Information Centre on Foxwell Road,
East Coomera will be open from 10 am on December 27. For more
