As part of its commitment to Adelaide's property market, Devine has unveiled a stylish new display village at Salisbury.

The innovative property developer is showcasing:

    * The Caprice 260
    * The Macquarie 236
    * The McLaren 281 and
    * The Monaco 253

The homes are a mixture of single storey and double-storey. Each has four double bedrooms, two bathrooms, including an ensuite off the master bedroom, handsome built-in robes, designer kitchen and plenty of storage space. Layouts vary, with a combination of study, family room, dining, living room and a secure double garage that leads into the house.

The homes have been tastefully decorated by two of Adelaide's leading interior designers, Karen Grant of Interior Insight and Susan Dodd of Zest for Living.

Each home varies to include personal taste, covering classical, oriental, contemporary and casual styles.

"The new Devine village created an opportunity to feature today's lifestyle trends in relation to home interiors," said Karen Grant of Interior Insight.

"We selected the latest furnishings and decorations to suit a variety of markets and budgets. Colours were chosen to reflect contemporary trends and demonstrate how interesting and liveable colour can be to the homeowner."

Devine has over 50 different styles of homes in its full range, and each one has up to five facade options, including face brick, bagged and painted, and rendered brick.

Like all Devine designs, versatility is a key.

"Our homes cater for a broad spectrum of consumer tastes - from first home buyers to those seeking added space and luxury," said Devine's South Australian State Manager, Steve Weightman.

"All models have functional layouts that maximise the amount of useable space, and rooms that provide an airy, open feel. Our designs also suit alfresco living."

Devine homes come with:

    * quality aluminium windows with a choice of powder-coated coloured finishes
    * a range of low-maintenance features
    * carpets and floor coverings
    * front landscaping, with some packages including full landscaping
    * fencing
    * driveways and
    * a choice of external and internal colour schemes

They carry:

    * a five-year structural warranty
    * a three-month maintenance period, and
    * a minimum four-star energy efficiency rating

Visitors to the Salisbury Display Village will be able to get information on Government housing grants and Devine's No-Deposit financing. This innovative package provides 106% of the purchase price, which allows buyers to pay for legal expenses, government charges and usually have some money left over for furnishings.

Devine has attractive house-and-land packages at several Adelaide estates, priced from as little as $169,000.

Salisbury Display Village in Pioneer Court is open daily from 12-noon to 5pm, and can be contacted on Ph: 132 466.
