18 homes compete for custom at the one display village.
Eight building companies have erected homes within the one
display village to give Adelaide homeseekers greater choice and
better value-for-money.
The competition for customers will be fierce when the 18 homes
open for inspection on January 27, 2007 at Devine's 'Lakeside'
residential estate on Davoren Road, Andrews Farm.
AV Jennings, Dechellis Homes, Devine Homes, Distinctive Homes,
Homestead Homes, CIP Constructions, Ian Wood Homes and Nusteel
Homes will all be trying to outdo one another at the display
centre, called 'The Battle of the Builders'.
The general public will be the winners. By having a
'smorgasbord' of housing options at the one place, homeseekers can
compare the variety of styles and costs, forcing each builder to
become more innovative and competitive.
Visitors to the village will appreciate the extra lengths to
which Devine has gone to make the important task of looking for a
home not only enlightening but much more pleasurable. Financial
experts will be able to assist first home buyers with information
about the Government's housing grant, and provide free financial
advice.
The 'Battle of the Builders' display centre at 'Lakeside',
Davoren Road, Andrew's Farm, is open from January 27, 2007, 1pm to
5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Appointments can be made from Monday to
Friday by calling 82848133.
