Devine Communities continues to expand in Victoria with the
recruitment of Shane Guymer to coordinate sales of land to the
general public and to contract home builders.
Shane Guymer, who has 12 years experience in the property
industry, has been appointed State Sales and Marketing Manager
where he will encourage builders to purchase land within Devine
Communities to showcase their designs.
Devine has a range of affordable blocks within its residential
estates at Brimbank, Pakenham, Tarneit and Berwick.
"Land in Victoria is still more affordable than other States,
but that situation is changing, and the local property market is on
the rise," Mr Guymer said. "All our research points to this being a
very prudent time to be entering the market."
Devine's General Manager for Victoria, Luke Hartman, confirmed
the company was continually looking to acquire large parcels of
land as part of the company's strategic growth plan.
"Infrastructure and transport improvements have contributed to
the amenity and ease of CBD access from a number of emerging
suburbs on the city's development edge, making them desirable
places to live," Mr Hartman said.
Devine Limited moved into Victoria in 1997 when it purchased
Pioneer Homes Australia, but in recent years it has expanded from a
home builder into a developer of fully-integrated residential
estates. This is evident by Devine's national development portfolio
now exceeding $2-billion.
As part of its on-going commitment to Victoria, Devine is
building new display centres at Tarneit and Pakenham. Full details
