Green Thumbs up for 4,000 New Trees at Orleana Waters

Devine’s Orleana Waters community at Evanston Gardens is set to boost its environmental footprint with plans to plant 4,000 trees and shrubs this month.

Developer Devine will plant the trees throughout a swale and reserve running through Orleana Water’s exclusive Brookside neighbourhood.

Devine South Australia Communities Manager Troy Jamieson said the company was dedicated to creating a healthy, environmentally sustainable community.

“The new tree plantings will help beautify the community, and restore important habitats for native flora and fauna,” he said.

“We hope that these plantings will be enjoyed by residents and their families for generations to come.

“We’re committed to making a difference in all of our residential communities and we’re proud to be a developer that leads by example.”

Upon completion, Orleana Waters at Evanston Gardens will feature approximately 800 homes with almost a quarter of the community devoted to open space, including wetlands, ornamental lakes at the entrance, and community parks.

Orleana Waters is conveniently located within minutes of the Northern Expressway and adjacent to the Tambelin Train Station with a direct line to the Adelaide CBD.

Shopping facilities are close by with residents only five minutes to the Gawler Town Centre and 10 minutes to Munno Para Shopping Centre. Some of the region’s top educational facilities including Trinity College are also nearby.
